How to do a Facial Steam-
Add 1 teaspoon of above as dried herbs or 1-2 drops of essential (depending on skin sensitivity)

So are you ready for that facial steam? If so here’s what you need to do-

Prepare to steam over a bowl or sink of hot water

Grab a big fluffy towel and choose your spot (remember comfort is key! So chose a comfy spot).

Pull your hair back s it’s off your face and cleanse using a gentle exfoliating cleanser.

Pour 4 to 6 cups of boiling water into the sink or bowl.

Let heat reduce so as not to burn your face. Have a seat, drape your towel over your head and the sink, and hold your face 10 cm above the water.

Raise or lower your head for more or less heat and lift a corner of the towel to cool off as needed.

Steam your face for 5 to 10 minutes.


Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

    Hi Bee Facial steaming can aggravate sensitive skin so I would exercise caution. You could try low heat and for shorter times to see how your skin finds it. Also the skin around your eyes is more delicate and thinner so its best to use an eye cream around your eyes. We don’t have an eye cream yet but its on our horizon! I hope that helps :-)

    hi. I have sensitive skin and broken capillaries on my face. Will steaming make the problem worse. Also can I use the kakadu plum moisturizer around my eyes as I am having trouble finding a good eye cream that does not irritate my eyes. Hope you can help
