In just 3 easy steps you can pamper your body, relax your mind & nuture your soul in the comfort if your own home.

Essentials For A Magical Home Body Day Spa Experience

Avoid Disruptions

So, you can enjoy some uninterrupted “me time”, turn your phone off or at a minimum to silent. Let your family and friends know you are not available. Lock the door and you’re ready

Have Everything Handy

Have the ingredients at hand ready to use. Grab your comfy robe and slippers, plenty of water and your favourite healthy snacks.

Set the mood

Put on your favourite relaxing music. Put a few drops of your favourite essential oils into a container of warm water or into an Oil Diffuser if you have one.  If it is an evening you could light some candles.

Have a good supply of detox drinking water in easy reach

Simply add slices of your favourite fruits to your water pitcher for a refreshing “spa drink.” Lemon water combinations have been proven to boost your immune system, aid with digestion and improve your skin condition. A suggested combination is lemon, mint & cucumber.

Now you are prepared- Lets begin!

1. Relaxing Bath Soak

Run a tepid bath you may want warmer in cooler weather but keep in mind that hot scorching water should be avoided as it is harmful and drying to the skin.

If available scatter some rose petals over the bath.

COCONUT MILK BATH SOAK

Add up to one can of 400ml of Coconut milk into your bath. Coconut milk acts as a gentle exfoliator, and moisturizer to hydrate your skin as its high in vitamin content like A and C.

Then add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to the bath.

2. Body Scrub

Before you jump into your bath soak, use a body scrub.

Natural body scrubs are a luxurious healthy experience for the whole body. They provide a deep cleanse, whilst removing dead skin cells and increasing the body's circulation. They leave the skin glowing, healthy and rejuvenated.

Personally, I love body scrubs, they leave my skin feeling sensational- to me they are like a day spa in a jar. 😊 Many mainstream body scrubs are full of nasty ingredients and may be tested on animals, so a natural, certified cruelty-free product is a must.

If you are anything like me, you love the sensation of raw natural ingredients on your skin. This is what inspired the raw beauty naturally skincare range!

If you have the time you can create your own DIY home scrub. A suggestion is this coconut and lime sugar scrub combination.

COCONUT LIME SCRUB

Recipe

1 cup raw sugar

¼ cup coconut oil

Juice & Zest of 1 Lime

Preparation:

Heat the coconut oil in the microwave on medium for 15 to 20 seconds.

Stir in coconut milk and sugar, mixing until the sugar is thoroughly coated. Stir in lime juice and zest until all ingredients are combined.

Note – you can alter the amount of coconut oil till you have your desired consistency

 DIY Coconut Body Scrub

Our Award Winning  Waratah & Wattle Seed Sugar Scrub will be back on stock soon!

It is a good alternate option. Our sugar scrub is natural, vegan & certified cruelty-free. It contains a combination of Olive Fruit, Coconut, Avocado and Jojoba Seed Oil, with Wattle Seed, Waratah Leaf Extract, organic sucrose and the subtle 100% natural scent of Lemon Myrtle. It feels earthy and raw against your skin.  It is a skin sensation!

If you want a more intense scrub, then apply the scrub to dry skin. Alternatively apply your chosen scrub to wet skin.

Rub in circular motions onto the skin, paying attention to your elbows and knees then jump into the bath to rinse off.

The oils in the scrub and the bath soak will continue to do your skin wonders.

Whilst relaxing in your bath soak, place one cooled cucumber slice over each eye, lean your head back, and relax for a further 10 to15 minutes.

This is the stuff! 😌

Once the time is up, rinse off your body in the bath and follow with a shower to remove any residue product.

Use raw beauty’s all natural, moisturising Elderflower Body Wash which gently cleanses with the benefit of moisture, leaving skin supple and lush.  It has a subtle 100% Lemon Myrtle natural scent.

Following your shower, gently pat your skin dry.

Now It’s time to finish off your spa body treatments by locking in moisture and invigorating your energy flow.

3. Moisture & Self Massage

Apply your desired body lotion or butter onto your skin, starting with the soles of your feet, moving towards the heart in long, firm strokes.

Try raw beauty’s Kakadu Plum & Body Lotion with certified organic Kakadu Plum extract which has skin firming and anti-ageing properties.
